• Finally, the change of season is just around the corner. Next Thursday, March 20, marks the first day of spring, 2008. Our winter has been mild, but I still embrace the coming of the early warming season. People who witness the arrival of spring in a big city might enjoy it, but they can’t possibly appreciate it, put their hands in it, and wrap themselves in it like people in the country can. The most hated weed breaking up through the ground in the country is as pretty as a flower opening up in the city.
